School Accounting 2
This course provides an in-depth study of the accounting requirements for all major funds of a school district. It includes advanced entries pertaining to year-end closing, including preparation of the Schedule of Long-Term Liabilities and the Notes to the Financial Statements. Other topics include governmental accounting versus for-profit accounting, capital asset accounting, grant accounting, interfund activities, debt and leases, financial reporting, internal controls and audits.

Successful completion of School Accounting 1 is a prerequisite to enrollment in School Accounting 2
All classes will be held at the Knox Administration Building in Olympia

July 23- 8:30am-4:00pm
Aug 6 - 8:30am-4:00pm
Aug 13 - 8:30am-4:00pm
(all classes must be attended for credit)
Cancellation Policy-
Cancellations received 30 or more days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund of their registration fee.
No Refunds for cancellations 29 or less days prior to the event and No Refunds will be granted for "No-Shows".
If you are registered for a workshop or training and you do not attend without canceling in advance (No-Show), your district will be notified.
Name substitutions and location changes (if applicable, i.e. ASB workshops) will be accepted up to 10 working days prior to the event.
