WASBO Job Bank

Welcome to the Washington Association of School Business Officials Job Bank.

If you are seeking a position, you will notice that the Job Bank provides position information and allows us to publish position openings with the newest positions on the top of the list.  It also allows you to search in more specific ways, yielding results by keyword, by city, by school district, by job title and/or by the date positions are posted.

Please note that WASBO is not responsible for the accuracy of any of the information provided in the Job Bank. We recommend that you direct questions and/or verify the accuracy of any position you find of interest directly with the organization listing the job.

List a position on the WASBO Job Bank

The WASBO Job Bank will approve positions that are relevant and appropriate to our membership.  We do not list teaching or other in-school certificated positions.  If you wish to list a position that you believe meets the criteria, please feel free to do so but be aware that we will determine suitability prior to approval and posting.  In addition, please take care to proof your listing because we may not notice or know that an error has occurred.

Because this module is not tied to membership, you may elect to post the position either by establishing a Non-Member Log-In or not.  This option is entirely up to you.  However, if you do establish a Non-Member Log-In username and password, you will be permitted to return directly to the job you post to edit or extend the deadline.  Another advantage is that the log-in option allows you to establish a Job Bank default template which will permit you to enter all the information that will be the same on all of your entries. This will save you time when entering new job bank listings into the system.

Please remember the log-in information ~ anyone in your organization wishing to make changes to your position listing will have to use it.

We ask that you include as much detail as possible in your listing to provide job seekers with a more complete look at the position you offer.

Making Changes

If after the position is approved and posted, you wish to edit the details you may do so by returning to the WASBO Job Bank section, click edit postings and log-in as described above.
Click the edit button (Edit Job) to the left of the position title you want to edit, make the appropriate changes, then click submit.

Application Deadlines

This module requires that you establish an application deadline.  When the position deadline nears, an automatic email message will notify you that the position listing is set to expire in seven days, giving you an opportunity to extend the posted deadline. If you do wish to extend the deadline, you need only to return to the WASBO Job Bank, click edit postings and log-in as described above.
Click the edit button to the left of the position title (Edit Job), establish a new deadline and make any other appropriate changes, then click submit.

We try to post all approved positions within 2 business days.
