WASBO Curriculum Education Program


WASBO Training Program are structured to provide entry level skills with an opportunity for progression to more advanced training. Classes are currently offered in the areas of Accounting, ASB Fund Management, Management Sciences, Payroll, Purchasing and Warehousing. Classes in other disciplines are in development.

College credits for all classes are currently available through Seattle Pacific University. In addition, Clock Hour Credit is available for WASBO classes and workshops. Finally, some learners can earn Washington School Food Service Association (WSFSA) Clock Hour Credits.  Please review each class description to determine the various professional development credit opportunities.

Certificate of Training
WASBO offers a certificate program based on completion of specified WASBO curriculum.  The completion of all required classes, success in the final examination will earn the learner a Certificate of Training.  Click

Financial Information  

WASBO Training Program fees are currently charged as follows:

 

30 contact hour classes


$375 member fee/$420 non-member fee
Online class fees are slightly higher.


20 contact hour classes


$255 member fee/$285 non-member fee

Online: $285 member fee/$310 non-member fee

10 contact hour classes


$135 member fee/$175 non-member fee
Online class fees are slightly higher.

Face to Face College Credit fees


$43 per credit

Online College Credit fees


$50 per credit
Online Clock Hour fees - included in registration fees and provided by SPU

Payroll Textbook: $225

 

Registration

Registration is easy!  All classes are available for online registration several weeks prior to the start of the each first class.

 

Academic Calendar

The WASBO Training Program academic calendar is a four quarter year: Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Fall quarter runs October through December; winter quarter is January through March; spring quarter is scheduled April through June; and summer quarter runs July through September.

Certification Renewals
