This event is open to National Board Certified Teachers
Facilitator I Training is a prerequisite for NBCTs who hope to contract with support provider partners (UW, WSU, PLU, EWU, WWU, CWU, GU, Heritage University, City University, Antioch University or district partners) to support Washington candidates as they pursue National Board Certification. Registration for this training is for National Board Certified Teachers that have not attended Facilitator I Training. Those NBCTs interested in being considered for employment as a facilitator during 2010-11 must show evidence that they have completed Facilitator I and II Training.
This workshop provides an opportunity for you to meet with and learn from other NBCTs. Facilitators report that the training has been helpful and we promise you’ll have some fun. If you’re interested in facilitation, please plan to join us!
When: August 10th and 11th - light morning refreshments begin at 8:30 am with the training from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Where: Sequoyah Middle School, 3425 S 360th Street, Auburn WA 98001
Registration Fee: $150.00 ~ Non-refundable ~ Lunch is included in the fee. If you have special dietary needs please indicate them in the "comments" box on the registration form.
Clock Hours: 11.5 clock hours will be available through CSTP for $20.
